Maybe chill out a little with the way you read the script... you sound like you're trying to imitate James from KillCount. And putting emphasis on every other word doesnt make it easier to understand the story or make it more engaging to listen to.

Well made video but the title is a bit misleading! You summarized the entire movie that I just watched 😂 I’m trying to listen to some theories and thoughts about the ending, explaining it and any other points in the movie that a casual movie goer wouldn’t catch/put together. No hate on you but I’m just sayin man. I read a comment on your video that did this exactly, pointing out specific subliminal images and theories on the meaning behind all that happened. That was a couple minutes into your video because you literally just summarized scene by scene what happens in the movie which lead my attention to stray from your video and into comments. Sorry for the rant man but I want some high quality movie dissection! That comment satisfied my curiosity though and provided examples I could pay attention for in future viewings of the movie. Thank you commenter! And I don’t mean to tear you down but I just felt compelled to share my opinion on this cause it really irked me that you kinda just summarized the movie. (Also I only watched the first 5 minutes and then scrubbed to see if there was any deeper substance than a summary, which I didn’t see but definitely could have skipped 🤷‍♂️; 30 minute video though man, I can’t wait until the last 3 minutes of your upload to actually get some theorizing on your part)

Didn’t watch it in cinema but heard all the hype for it. Found it streaming and just got done watching it myself all alone in the dark. No some may feel like I do but I think it’s a good film but sadly it’s not scary in least to me. I sadly have a hard time being scared by this concept and a lot of horror now-a-days is kinda like this. I like the story and some concepts of most new horror. Sadly there is no real payoff to the tension for me in these kind of films sometimes for me. I’m a little sad about the current horror theme content being so philosophically without some of major scares to hit after the perfect tense scenes the set up. Good film but I would rather rate it high on a tension and mystery category than horror. If you loved it I understand, but I just like it in a different category of film if I’m honest.

I assume either James was lying about not recording or the aliens themselves are monitoring the conversations and recording them. Perhaps they put it on VHS.

Mikes wife, whom Mike complained of leaving annoying notes also despairs about finding them.. Also it seems the God might have killed the boys parents, as the spot where they were killed was right at a loop edge and I suspect the boys never escaped the loop but rather are in the middle of it. Three moons, maybe a planned trilogy? Or a hint at the makers, as they act the brothers being the God, the film room with cuts and bits of the movie, and as its no bother not to have gas in the car and Tims last sentence when the other brother says it doesn't matter is "oh, you finally understood" or something to that effect struck me weird.. In my sequel third movie, Tim is not the brother but the Father and has been stuck way longer in the time loop, centered around his son the future little brother. All the world a time loop around him, or coming from him releasing the God with expanding loops of stories or smthng..

I feel like if you're gonna do a screen adaptation of a James Herbert novel like this one, you just need to commit to the crazy and go there. The dude wrote 'The Rats' for gods sake. His books -particularly his earlier ones - aren't subtle.

I love how much of this is based on real life. The Grove is an obvious reference to Bohemian Club (which meets at Bohemian GROVE), even down to the owl symbolism!

I watched the entire movie and didn't feel any fear the entire film it was a total let down and my mind is blown that I'm the only one feeling this way.

Yooooo I've watched tons of these but this is the first video with the "professor" persona. Honestly liked the difference in the normal videos! Surprised it went away.

Personally to me the wiping of her mouth with it is what RUINED the film for me; Up until then I’d honestly thought “Margo” had actually learned a profound lesson, and that scene turned it into thinking she was just proud to have been able to MANIPULATE “the stereotypical megalomaniac” and escape! To me it…. Sullied the Character arc and in a sense “deflated” the Dramatic elements of the finale itself, and it’s too bad the shot wasn’t “framed” more in a contemplative manner of maybe her just starting to read down the page as the explosion happened, for her to jerk her head back up and THEN we the audience see the conflagration GLOWINGLY reflected in her eyes as the shot fades to black/credits.

I saw an article about this and called it a scary movie. To me it wasn't that scary. I felt more paranoia watching the movie "Bug."

This movie is fantastic for 3/4 until do the thing that no found footage must do: brake the narrative agreement with the audience. The last 1/4 is basically not the live anymore. that's a bummer.

The movie was good and all. But the pacing and the ending are such a waste not to mention the 1min & 50secs of introductions from the people who made this fil. I wanted it to watch it with my mom but first I have to translate everything from the movie into Spanish but I had to watch it first. First comes the ¾th of the movie I enjoyed watching but the ¼ ending was a disappointment I was expecting antrum levels of horror but instead felt scammed even though I used my free trial to watch this movie. Maybe Ill watch it some other time when everything clicks. One this this movie did was get some pretty good actor, one thing they tried to do/take to scare the audience is. Have a static background with a demonic looking face staring at me. Just like Antrum Antrum succeeded in scaring people for making it seem that there was something in the room with you. All I can take from this is that it tried hard to become an unofficial sequel to antrum. But failed. It did have its moments like James randis character they made his hated because at the time James Randi was disliked by most people. And at the same time the shows director being and asshole every one except the TV Host and of course shut down the co-host. I enjoyed the little paranormal activity going around, I guess as a way to keep the viewer entertained. Not to mention the commercial breaks where everything turnes black and white. Such a good way to separate the live audience from the behind of the scenes. The ending felt like if someone already had the beginning and end figured out, So they started writing down whatever came to mind and need all the parts to connect. But instead of a beautiful script. The whole script is a mess of gibberish somehow holding on by a Yu-Gi-Oh band-aid. I the words of a wise man who said something along these lines. "My Disappointment is immeasurable, And my day is ruined" ⁴/¹⁰

Once the daughter revealed she knew what was happening to the mom in her rant I lost it!!
